Acupuncturist
Andrew Godenick is a licensed acupuncturist and naturopathic doctor. He brings over 20 years experience in the wellness and fitness industry to APMR, applying concepts of electroacupuncture medicine, diet nutrient therapy and herbology to address a broad range of health concerns.
He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Biology at Rutgers University — New Brunswick before attending graduate school at Bastyr University in Washington state to earn his Masters of Acupuncture and Doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine degrees in 2005. As a student, Dr. Andrew received standard medical school training in the sciences, including all conventional methods of physical, clinical, and laboratory diagnosis. In addition, he studied in-depth a wide range of holistic and non-toxic approaches to therapeutics and disease prevention, and completed two years of clinical training in preventive medicine in a primary care out-patient setting.
Over the course of his professional career, Dr. Andrew completed an internal medicine intensive at Zhejiang Medical University in Hangzhou, China (UCLA and Loma Linda affiliate), mentored acupuncturists in clinic protocols, and developed an outpatient exercise program combining the benefits of resistance training with restorative Qi-Gong movement.
He balances his professional life with staying physically active, exploring the great outdoors, and visiting historic sites and destinations world wide along his personal faith journey.
