David Dias, M.S, L.Ac.
David Dias, M.S,L.Ac is a NCCAOM board certified acupuncturist, licensed in the state of New Jersey. He started with APMR in September 2019.
He specializes in treating pain, neurological and digestive issues. David began working in the field of physical therapy at age 17 as a therapist aide, while attending Kean University acquiring his Dual Bachelor’s in Psychology and Biology. Also, around this time he attained several personal training certifications and began working in Rehab facilities as a corrective exercise specialist, even working as a neurological trainer for those with Spinal cord injuries and other neurological disabilities. He noticed that those who incorporated acupuncture along with physical therapy where attaining their health goals and relief of their ailments at a faster rate. Intrigued, he began his graduate studies in Acupuncture where he attained his Master of Science in Acupuncture from Eastern School of Medicine in Montclair, New Jersey.
He specializes in using a multifaceted approach to a person’s health and wellness, with extensive training in Japanese style acupuncture, Electro-acupuncture, Auriculotherapy and Trigger point acupuncture. Through his studies and experience he has found that to treat a person optimally, treatment should be focused on a holistic rather than an individualistic model; with getting to the root of an issue necessary to achieve overall health.
