Marsha Halpert Lic., Ac.
Marsha started with APMR in August 2018. The path that brought Marsha to the field of acupuncture was neither direct nor simple but ultimately very rewarding. Marsha started off preparing to go to dental school, but after becoming pregnant she decided to go to school the following year. It was at this time that Marsha had her first encounter with acupuncture. In her ninth month she stated suffering from an excruciating case of sciatica. Western medicine was unable to offer any relief, so in desperation she went for her first acupuncture treatment. The results were incredible! Some slight pulling in the areas of pain the day after the treatment and the pain never returned.
This was an interesting new direction for Marsha to explore and after doing much research she enrolled in Pacific Institute (now College) of Oriental Medicine, PCOM, in New York City. She has been working full time as a licensed acupuncturist since 2001 in many different type of acupuncture related positions. She has worked in small private offices, medium sized wellness practices and large multi-specialty ones. She has tremendous experience in treating all manner of acute and chronic conditions, including all types of pain syndromes.
